In The Lone Ranger Native American warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice.
I was never exited for The Lone Ranger, the marketing for the movie has been absolutely awful, i am aware it is a reboot and i should honestly say to every one that is planning on watching this movie that it is not good.
This is a movie that could have been good if they did not have our long favorite Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp isn't bad in the film, it is not his fault that the film is terrible nor Armie Hammer's (although he does add to the my point).
The producers had a film in mind and as soon as they realized they had Johnny Depp, they changed the whole movie.
Seriously, all marketing basically says "You don't know this film but Johnny Depp is in it!". The character of Tonto in this film is a native american Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp is getting unoriginally boring.
Armie Hammer just didn't have it in him, i did't buy for one moment that he was The Lone Ranger.
The film is well made, it looks good and has good shots, but no emotion whatsoever. I didn't care and checked my clock 6 times before the film reached it's last ten minutes.
Gore Verbinski the director hasn't done anything i'm crazy about specially the amazingly overrated The Ring or Pirates of The Carribean and i didn't expect much yeat i feel dissapointed.
So overall
"The Lone Ranger has great visuals but no good performances and no emotion whatsoever for me to care for anything happening. An utter mess."
4.0/10 (Awful)
