J.J ABRAMS DIRECTING STAR WARS EPISODE VII AND STAND ALONE MOVIES
(THIS IS A FAN POSTER)
The news came out, every one talked about it and i feel obligated to talk about it to since i am a huge time Star Wars fan.
J.J Abrams director of Star Trek Into Darkness franchise, Mission Impossible 3 and a bunch of other cool stuff is now directing the new Star Wars movie since Disney bought Lucasfilm.
This is bad news to some who did not like Star Trek 2009 unlike me because of lens flare (which i think is stupid).
Now the fact that Abrams is a Star Wars fan and not a Star Trek fan brings me up to some conclusions
1) Abrams was not a Star Trek fan. He wanted to make a movie everybody liked and could understand without any knowledge of Star Trek. He succeeded by making the best Star Trek movie out there (yes, including Wrath of Khan).
2) He is however a Star Wars fan and he isin't going to mess our beloved characters up because he likes and respects them as much as we do.
3) He is not going to lens flare the whole thing, that was just a test to a new cinematography to make Star Trek look fresh specially because he won't risk this experiment with Star Wars.
4) Abrams did a fine job with re-inventing Star Trek with a smart plot, so i am sure that this new trilogy is going to keep us entertained without Jar Jar Binks and the horrible messed up non Star Wars prequels.
So J.J Abrams directing episode VII, how do you feel about returning to a galaxy far far away?
Spin Offs
Spin offs the original trilogy will be made to keep the fans entertained and confident the new triogy will be good as well.
Spin offs could include: Bobba Fett, Han Solo (epic!!) and Yoda (don't you dare).
I say Yoda don't you dare because how bad would it be to see Yoda before the Phantom Meneance, there is no way he would have his movie fit into the original trilogy because we know his story, he is wise bad cgi-ed Yoda then does not appear since he is in chilling in Dagobah System then he is Empire Strikes back ish, trains Luke then dies.
Han Solo is a good idea though the thought of an actor doing a young impression of Harrison Ford leaves me in doubt
