JURASSIC PARK 3D MOVIE REVIEW!

The movie with amazing visuals is back in theaters to celebrate the now-average CGI in a third dimension.

Jurassic Park is the story of a scientist that manages to bring back dinosaurs from the dead to make a natural park. To get his approval he get's scientists to inspect the place but it all goes to hell when the dinosaurs get out of control.

Jurassic Park was perhaps the first movie to use CGI as the threat in a movie, people are running from cartoons and surprisingly it is more believeable than any of the modern CGI. Including Transformers, i had to mention it, i did.

The movie is meant for the family, it might get kids scared but that's the whole point so the fact that it's rated PG-13 is just wrong. Kids will handle this with parental guidance and that's why the film is so much better than it would be if it was just some sci-fi terror.

It is directed by Steven Spielberg and this isin't the movie that put him on the map, but if Jaws never came out and this was his first film, i bet you he would still be the Spielberg from now.

The movie stars Sam Neil, who really is known for his role in this movie as Dr.Alan Grant. He was a nice main character, he was believeable. His wife is played by Laura Dern and she was well cast.

But the guy who really steals the show here is Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, the dude is awesome, he's flirting with Grant's wife, he will keep the adults entertained for the first hour of this film where the movie hasn't even started, but you don't realize because you're so intrigued with what's happening.

I remember watching this movie as a kid and i believed that the dinossaurs were back, when i see Transformers i just can't buy that Megatron is standing there, with Jurassic Park you believe that there is actually a dinossaur standing there.

The soundtrack is also amazing, the scene where Grant sees the first dinosaur fits perfectly with the music, you don't doubt for a second that the movie you're watching is from Spielberg.

There are some great shots in the movie, like the one where T-Rex is approaching and the glass of water is shaking, that's how you build suspense.

The movie is based on a book which i haven't read but people say it's not the most accurate adaptation, but my take on this is " If the movie is actually better than the source material, it being innacurate is not a problem". Die Hard is based on a book, i prefer the movie. Not that i don't like books, i love some of them i just think that sitting two hours and a half believing dinossaurs are back beats reading for two weeks imagining characters in this situation.

The post-converted 3D was OK, that's not why i watch the movie but it gives children a reason to see it and i'm cool with it. As long as you don't make Twilight 3D.

So overall

"Jurassic Park will keep you hooked to the screen believing that dinossaurs a back. You will be on the edge of your seat having a great experience that you will remember for a long time."

8.5/10
