The only thing scary in this movie is the thought of how many sequels it will spawn.
I liked the first Scary Movie, it was the best spoof i can think of. It was funny and over the top, the sequel was fine, the third was really funny and the fourth was ok. Bad movies for sure but they can still be enjoyable to an audience.
Scary Movie 5 is a spoof comedy of horror movies coming out this year along with other films.
Now here's where this movie went wrong, A Haunted House was a spoof of Paranormal Activity and it came out this year, you got fart jokes, bad jokes and a bad time. I didin't even review it, but because i liked the first Scary Movie i feel i need to tell you not to see this one. The concept of Scary Movie is basically: you take a movie that came out this year, you make a over-the-top version of the plot by changing characters, then you add other movie references.
The fun of Scary Movie was to see the character of Cindy ( A parody of Sidney from Scream) go through all these major events, and it's absurd, but that's the funny of it. Now Ashley Tisdale is the main character and none of it is funny, she sucks. They try to copy the character's that left because "they're too old or good for it" and replaced them with these new guys.
I laughed once in Scary Movie 5, all the others i laughed at the movie, this movie made want to cry. The jokes are terrible. Seeing this movie made the other ones look amazing. Such a bad film, no one will enjoy it. NO ONE.
The funniest part in the movie is when a Leonardo DiCaprio pretender comes to act like he's Cobb from Inception. The joke's in the trailer.
The first trailer looked awful, i don't why i wasted my time, you get toilet's in closets for the sake of a fart joke. Who the hell pushe's physics just to make a fart joke!?
It's so bad, no one will watch this movie and leave happily, in the other ones some people really liked the kind of humor, they see it's a bad movie and they're like "it's just funny", this isin't funny, i laughed once and one time i said "they should have used that in the movie" (When Charlie Sheen dies and his body parties on for two days".
You want to see a movie that will make you laugh? Wait for the new Hangover or This Is the End, hell, go watch Community! For all movie critics going to see this movie good luck!
So overall
"Scary Movie 5 is painful to sit through, filled with bad and outdated jokes. In other words, a waste of time and money"
