THIS IS THE END MOVIE REVIEW

This is The End takes in a party at James Franco's house, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and many other celebrities are faced with the apocalypse.

I was not exited for This is The End because I thought it would be this messy comedy film with bad cgi although I liked the fact that the actors were playing themselves. I was not expecting to come in the theatre and laugh as much as I could in 2 hours.

The main stars are James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and Danny McBride along with many other celebrities like Michael Cera and they all play themselves which is the film’s strongest point. They all seemed they were having a LOT of fun and were enjoying themselves.

The computer effects aren’t amazing and you can clearly see what’s CGI and what is not, but it kind of adds to the brilliance of this film and that’s probably the only problem, I didn’t want the whole film to be “OMG! Michael Cera just died!” and it the fact that these actors are playing themselves lessens the fact that they aren’t really developed.

I really had a blast with this film and I didn’t expect it, it is miles more of a comedy than The Hangover – Part 3, it had the brains, the jokes and the cast which make this movie an awesome ride. I totally recommend it, funniest film of the year so far.
