THE CONJURING MOVIE REVIEW

Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
I wasn't exactly exited for The Conjuring except for the fact that it's rated R because it's scary. No blood, no guts and the fact that it uses practical effects thanks to James Wan.
When a movie so good comes along it is hard to remember the last time you felt like this. The Conjuring is amazing. I can't describe how good it is to be screaming in the theater and i have this film to thank for that.
I really like Evil Dead (2013) because it's a great looking film that will keep you interested, The Conjuring scares you so much to the point where every suspenseful moment is as suspenseful as any moment can ever get in any movie. Because you are afraid.
Insidious was great, my only problems with it were the cinematography, the tone and the overuse of computer graphics (CGI). This movie uses so little CGI that like Evil Dead you can appreciate what people are doing.
James Wan put effort in this movie, you can tell. You can also tell that he knew it was gonna scare you.
This movie i so smart that it will keep you so drawn in that it wouldn't even need to try to scare you because you are so glued into it.
As far as acting goes, everyone was good. Nobody is memorable. Vera Farmiga was great but i will always remember her as Mrs Bates.
The film does do some things which it didn't have to and it could have made it easier for me to give my final score but because i loved it so much i don't see why i am thinking twice about it.
So overall
"The Conjuring is simply stunning. James Wan handles this movie like a master; it gets you into it, it scares you to a point where Alfred Hitchcock couldn't have scared you more with this movie. It does it's job and it does it well."
9/10 (Amazing)
